Traveling another 50 yards downstream, we come to a series of large boulders. Each of the boulders has caused a hole to form as the current is diverted around the rock. The first rocks we encounter are Baby Bear and Goldie Locks. (My name for them, having no other reference) These pools, and those of Papa (Bryner's) and Mama Bear which we will encounter as we move just a little further downstream, are prime holding areas. Be sure to survey the water before approaching, as fish frequent the shallows on the road side of the pool as well as the rock side. If you spook them, you will have to wait for a while for them to touch anything. | ||||||||||||
